Manchester Academy

I’ve been to the Academy with Travis and BRMC and have a fondness for the venue. It sounds great in there. The night tied with the second night at the Barrowlands as my favorite on the tour.

After the show, we tried to get into a Norwegian black metal show at Academy 3. Ian and I even donned eye-liner for the occasion. Unfortunately, we spent too long on our makeup and as we entered the venue, everyone was leaving. So, we headed back to the Academy to meet fans after the show. Then it got a bit sketchy…

Frankie and the Heartstrings were DJing across town so we hit that place up. Drinks were drank and dances were danced. We went to another club where the Vaccines were DJing. Let’s just say SOMEONE in the Howler party drank a few too many vodkas and was very rough the next day.
