Glencoe

What better way to come off a week of rock and roll debauchery than to take a drive to the north of Scotland for some beautiful countryside (and endure some very narrow roads). That’s what my friend Kevin and I did yesterday.

Sure, it rained and was very foggy but doesn’t that sum up Scotland pretty well? (It does).

For lunch, we went to the Clachaig Inn and had seriously the biggest bowl of soup I’ve ever seen in my life, followed by delicious steak and ale pie. So good. They even had free WiFi so I was able to FaceTime with Emily from there.

The drive home was pretty treacherous thanks to the strong winds and rain that are plaguing the country right now. But it was so great to get up there! Awesome day.
