Hello England
Tonight’s show at the Barrowlands was a lot more promising: the room was pretty full by the time Howler took to the stage so it’s amazing they got on so well after France Camp welcomed the audience by saying “Hello England!”. Of course he was kidding, and by the sounds of it the crowd knew. Phew!
Much better show than the night before and the set included the awesome Pythagorean Fearem – a definite album highlight for me.
Afterwards, we hung out and made our way to Sleazys where we ran into Johnny from Yuck who was playing down the street. Also, I got to see my good friend Maddy who I saw was coming to the show via Facebook. What a great encounter!
THEN! I bumped into my friend Ian who I haven’t seen in like 7 years. The trip is going awesome so far. KLM, however, lost my luggage so I’m taking 2 days out of the door, skipping Newcastle, to wait for my bag and rest up a bit. I’ll be back with them in Sheffield on Wednesday.
I hear it snowed in Minneapolis? Enjoy friends!
